Green Building Tutorial
Contents Green Building is a collection of  advanced building principles and methods that goes beyond all existing building codes. Green building not only reduces the impact on the planet, but creates buildings which are healthier.

The following tutorial is intended to be a complete, although not in-depth coverage of all of Green Building.  It is intended mainly for non-professionals who are interested in Green Building, although others may find it interesting also.

Because Green Building is to a degree climate specific, not all issues are applicable to all climates, and although an attempt was made to make this document as general as possible, it is biased toward a cold climate.

All the material contained here can be found elsewhere, some on the web and rest in books and periodicals.  Each section has a list of references for further reading and the resources section has a combined list for all sections.

This project began as a set of notes from the monthly meeting of the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild combined with notes from an introductory class on Green building also presented by the Guild.
