Third Floor Office

This is the third floor office.  If you look carefully at the ceiling, you can see the joints of the SIP roof. There is more about our decision to use SIPS in the framing discussion.

The portable electric heater (visible behind desk) is used occassionaly on cold days because the heating system doesn't deliver much heat up there (to make it work, every duct register would need a damper set to the exact right airflow.)  This problem often exists in all forced air systems.
