Seattle - Reused Products in Kim's Office

Re-used ceiling tins from a 1903 Seattle Hotel  built in a wainscot (left).

Kim bought the ceiling tins before we even finished our floor plans, not knowing exactly where they would go.  The key to reusing materials is to collect them way in advance, make sure you have room to store them, and have fun with it.  As is turned out, we were able to get them to fill one wall of her office by filling in with the right size molding.

When people tour, her office is often their favorite place, both because of the character she's added and the fact that is light but feels almost imbedded in the giant white pine outside.
